Dear 2025,
~isn't too early?
2025: (gives Tolu a dirty slap)
Don't reason it too much😪. I'll let you know how I got here…
COMEBACK MODE ACTIVATED [1st January 2025]
Tolu: (with a massive adrenaline rush) 2025, my year of legacy! Amongst many other things I want to my blog growth seriously. I'll try to release at least 3 posts each month tooo.
2025: (with a scary side eye) let's watch and seee.
[3 weeks later]
Tolu: (I just went through my draft and realized, no post was ready for publishing). I mean, the year just started out and inconsistency has started creeping in, despite how prepared I thought I was. (This wasn't even only about writing, other aspects of my life were affected tooo)
What could the problem be? Well, we’ll find out….
COMEBACK MODE DEACTIVATED [February 2025]
(At this point, I was already restless) I seemed to have lost control of how my day plays out. I'll wake up, draft a to-do list but somehow an unforseen event will just find it’s way there and disrupt it. It could be network crash(just imagine a day without internet😪), an unexpected meeting in school, bank issues, in fact I'd go on and on…
As someone who thrives on routines, it was even more frustrating. I knew I couldn't keep using that as an excuse but what exactly should I do? (deep sighhhh)
The first 65 days of this year really made me realize that we can't have control over everything that happens no matter how prepared we think we are. Some situations are genuinely beyond us but if we keep focusing on that, we might end up achieving little or nothing at all.
COMEBACK MODE REACTIVATED
[March 2025]
Even now, I don't have it all figured out but I'm learning to maximize my energy and focus despite the problems of the day, but, still keeping it in my mind that some days might just be one of those days(and that's okay). We keep going and trusting God for direction!
What are your thoughts on these? Let me know in the comments section.

"Some situations are genuinely beyond us but if we keep focusing on that, we might end up achieving little or nothing at all." Thanks for this
Yes I needed this, thanks. Let school just resume, atleast going to class can make one feel more productive
